Your Guide to Events/businesses in The Twin cities that Host Local art events.

Breweries & Coffee Shops: Many breweries and coffee shops host art markets to bring extra people to their spots and show artists some love. Here are a few I’ve seen host! 

  • Broken Clock Brewery 

    • ~$25 vendor fee

    • Markets on Thursdays and occasional weekends

  • Wild Mind / Wild Grind - Sip and Shop Events

    • Select weekends throughout the year. Follow their Instagram to see when they’re taking applications!

  • Blackstack:

    • Free for vendors

    • Monday Night Markets throughout the year

  • Fair State - seasonally or for themed events

  • Pilllar Forum - more frequently in the summer

  • The Briar - occasional events

  • Urban Growler - occasional events

  • Groundswell (mostly for holidays) 

  • Third Space (holidays)

Local Community Events:

  • Phillips West Neighborhood Organization hosts community events that 

  • LoLa (Longfellow)

  • Art-A-Whirl (Northeast Minneapolis)

  • summit avenue artisan festival - now accepting applications (as of 8/22)

Art Studios/Centers that host maker events:

  • The Toolbox Collective

  • 2010 art blok (ask for guest artists) 

  • Textile Center (occassional) 

  • Springboard center for the arts (spring pop! But look at them for general artist resources bc they have a LOT)

  • Forma Clay (for special events but also they’re cool so go follow them)

  • Marine mills folk school

Retail & Gift Shops:

  • B. Resale seasonally looks for artists to pop-up at their shop. Follow them on insta to see when they’re looking! 

  • Moth Oddities

  • Larissa Loden

  • tonkadale greenhouse

Market Organizers:

  • Way the Label - fees range from $20-45 

  • MPLS Craft Market - $15 to sign up as a vendor, additional fees approx $50-150 per event

  • Juniper Lou Markets - vendor fee varies based on events

  • MN Artisan Market Twin Cities - approx $40-60 per event

  • Art juice 

  • I heart indie markets (host markets all over the nation?)

  • BuNSide Market
